Inter sack Stramaccioni, Mazzarri the new coach. Moratti: "I chose him myself"


The club has released a statement confirming a two-year agreement with the former Napoli coach. "We thank Stramaccioni for his great commitment and professionalism"

Andrea Stramaccioni is no longer the coach of Inter. He was informed of the club's decision by Marco Branca. This evening the long-awaited news became official: Walter Mazzarri is the new Nerazzurri coach. President Moratti announced the news: "I chose him myself."
CLUB STATEMENT — A statement on the club's website reads: "FC Internazionale would like to announce that the club has appointed Walter Mazzarri as the new head coach. FC Internazionale would like to thank Andrea Stramaccioni for the great commitment and professionalism he showed in a particularly difficult year. Walter Mazzarri has signed a two-year deal."
